The disc of the ball valve is like a globe. This is a kind of valve which is opened and closed by rotating the center of the valve body. It is suitable for cutting off water flow and changing the distribution of water flow on the pipeline with low pressure and small diameters.
Notes for installation
1. There should not be metal debris, fiber, grease (except for the specified items), dust, other impurities and foreign matters during installation. They are not allowed to adhere to or stay on the surface of the valve parts or inside the valve parts. If there is a slight leakage in the packing place, the valve stem nuts shall be locked tightly again.
2. The bolts on the flange must be tightened symmetrically, gradually and evenly during the installation.
3. The installation location, height and input and output direction must meet the design requirements, and the connection place should be firm and tight.
4. The handle of all kinds of manual valves installed on the thermal insulation pipeline shall not be downward.
5. It is better to install valves according to the opearation instructions.
6. New parts should be cleaned before installation.

Notes for disassembly
1. The disassembly and decomposition operation can only be carried out after confirming the pressure has been unloaded from the upper and lower pipe of the ball valve.
2. When decomposing and reassembling, you should carefully prevent damage from the sealing surface of parts, especially non-metallic parts. Special tools should be used when taking out the O-ring.
3. Close the ball valve; remove the connecting bolts and nuts on both sides of the flanges, and then remove the valve from the pipeline completely.
4. Remove cover connection bolts and nuts; separate cover from body, and remove cover washer.
5. Make sure the ball is in the off position so it can be easily removed from the body and then the seat.
6. Gently push the stem down through the central hole in the body until it is completely removed, then remove the O-ring and the understem packing.
7. Disassemble the drive in sequences of actuators, connecting brackets, lock washers, stem nuts, butterfly shrapnels, gnams, wear-resistant sheets, stem packing.
Notes for cleaning
1. Non-metallic valve parts should be taken out from the cleaning agent immediately after cleaning, and it should not be soaked for a long time.
2. The cleaning agent should be compatible with rubber parts, plastic parts, metal parts and working medium like gas in the ball valve. When the working medium is gas, the metal parts can be cleaned with gasoline (gb484-89). Clean non-metallic parts with pure water or alcohol.
3. After cleaning, assembly shall be carried out after the cleaning agent on the wall surface is volatilized, but it should not be used for a long time. Otherwise it will rust and be contaminated by dust.
4. Lubricate with grease. Grease shall be compatible with ball valve metal materials, rubber parts, plastic parts and working media. When the working medium is gas, use special 221 grease. Apply a thin layer of grease to the surface of the sealing groove. Apply a thin layer of grease to the rubber sealing. And apply a thin layer of grease to the sealing surface and friction surface of the valve stem.
Tips: If we want the ball valve to have a longer life, we should read the notes above carefully.
