Reduced Bore Ball Valve

Reduced bore ball valves feature an inner diameter smaller than the end connections, with the ball's diameter being less than 85% of the valve port diameter. This design results in a narrower flow path compared to the valve's end connections. Often used in applications where flow resistance is acceptable, reduced bore valves are suitable for smaller pipes and lighter mediums such as water or gases. They are ideal for applications like feeding fluids into storage tanks or in industrial pipelines where managing flow resistance can lead to cost savings.
